- GST First is a private product. It is not operated, endorsed or certified by GSTN, CBIC or any government body.
- Not a credit rating agency
- Our score is not a credit rating under SEBI regulations and must not be used as one.
- Not legal or tax advice
- Nothing on this platform constitutes professional advice. Consult a qualified practitioner before acting.
- Not a guarantee of ITC
- A favourable score does not guarantee that input tax credit will be available or sustained on assessment.
Data
Where our data comes from
Every displayed field is traceable to a source record and a fetch timestamp.
- Registration data
- Sourced from public GST registration records through licensed data providers.
- Return filing data
- Filing status and preference data as published for the relevant tax periods.
- Refresh cadence
- Data is fetched on demand and on scheduled refreshes. Every record carries the timestamp of its last sync.
- Accuracy
- Source systems can be delayed or incomplete. We display what the source returns without altering it.
Methodology
How the risk score is built
A transparent model with stated limits, not a black box.
- Dual scoring model
- Basic and Advanced models each evaluate multiple data points — registration health, filing timeliness, return consistency, vintage and behavioural signals. Scores are re-evaluated daily and every change is recorded with its date and reason.
- Configurable parameters
- Weights and bands are maintained by GST First and may change as the model is refined.
- Known limits
- The model cannot see private commercial disputes, unreported transactions or intent.
- Human review
- Scores support judgment. They do not replace your own verification and internal controls.
